This symposium provides guidelines and suggestions to psychology instructors on how to teach critical thinking (CT). Four psychology instructors who have written textbooks on CT in psychology present descriptions of evidence-based and best practices in teaching CT, along with practical suggestions for infusing CT into psychology courses. Presentations include how to reduce misconceptions and thinking errors, everyday applications of CT-focused research methods and statistics, and guidelines for incorporating a game-theory approach to promoting CT.<br />
