We'll also be hosting experienced panelists from U.S. government (civilian and military), industry, and commercial sectors and conducting discussions about maximizing collaboration capabilities, the dark web, utilizing the ever-growing field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and getting insights from the Hack-A-Sat event that completed a few weeks ago!  During the discussions, you can utilize the integrated chat capability that can host near-real-time questions and answers.

This event will focus on cyber resilience to protect our current and future space systems and acquisitions.

Capture The Flag:
 


If you like showing off your cyber skills and/or gaining new cyber skills, come try your cyber skills in a variety of online challenges with topics (with special space and missile themes) like:
 
Network Forensics
Algorithm Programming
Code Analysis
Cryptography
Analytics
Penetration Testing
Malware Analysis
Reverse Engineering
 
Lots of fun will be had, as well as lots of learning - they'll be something for everyone (beginners or veterans)!  All you need is a computer with a web browser to get started, though the ability to download and install tools like Wireshark is useful too. 
 
Please provide your desired username and your email address in the registration form and we’ll email you all the information you will need to join!

An e-gift card to Grubhub will be provided to all attendees that accumulate over 50 points during the event. Points can be accumulated in any of the following ways during the event: 
    
·      Download any material from an exhibit booth = 3 points/download
·      Chat with an exhibitor representative = 2 points/chat
·      Watch a presentation = 2 points per session 




Continuous Learning Points (CLP)

For 2021 SSC Virtual Cyber Expo participation, registered members will receive a certificate of attendance send to the email used in the registration process.  You will be eligible for 10 CLPs for two days of participation or 5 CLPs for one day.  To be awarded CLPs, eligible members must follow additional ACQ Now instructions below:
 
  1. Sign in to ACQ Now at:  https://acqnow.atrrs.army.mil/  (NOTE:  You must have a complete profile in ACQ Now to apply for CL Events; please ensure you have listed your supervisor on your profile before you attempt to apply)
  2. Select ‘My Career’
  3. Select ‘Search for CL Events’ located under the Training Events Group
  4. Click on ‘Search Catalogs’ button (upper right-hand corner of page)
  5. Type SMC CYBER EXPO (ALL CAPS) in the Event Name Field and click on ‘Search’ button (to the far-right of Event Name Field)
  6. Click on ‘View Scheduled’ offerings button.  You will see two offerings displayed, one on 16 Nov and another on 17 Nov.  If you are going to attend both days please apply for each offering. If you will only be attending one of the days, apply for that day only
  7. Click on ‘Apply’ button
  8. Click on ‘Submit’ Request. This will complete the application process and you will be automatically enrolled.  After you apply you will receive a system-generated email confirming your reservation.
 
For those that miss the event, the Cyber Expo’s video content will be available for review for up to one year from the event conclusion.  You will need to register to gain access to the video content.  Thereafter, email lucky.nguyen.2@spaceforce.mil stating your acknowledgement of the event material and we will send you a certificate of completion to pursue CLP award.
