Supporting Diverse Students on Study Abroad

This workshop will provide you with a better understanding of the U.S. context around issues of equity, diversity and inclusion for students participating in education abroad programs.

Learning outcomes include:
• Better understanding of the experience and expectations of U.S. students from diverse background.
• Familiarity with the 6th edition of the Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad
• Understanding the host institution’s commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and access issues
• Ability to operationalize the concepts of equity, diversity, inclusion and access

Audience
Local program administrators, faculty, housing coordinators, resident directors, host families, and anyone who interacts with U.S. students during their study abroad experience

Please note that this is a full day workshop that will be in two-parts. Your registration includes registration for both days for one person only and it cannot be split among two different people.
