It’s high time that those who live and work in the rest of the Province, and the politicians, especially those from the Lower Mainland and Victoria begin to pay more than just lip service to the importance of the people, businesses and industry in the North, and not just at election time. BC’s O&G industry must deal with an industry dominated by companies in Calgary who utilize industry businesses to work in BC with whom they are familiar. These businesses are often from Alberta instead of not utilizing the expertise readily available from British Columbia based and owned companies. Inclusion and the importance of Social benefits to community, Jobs generated throughout BC, Tax revenue |
