Purbita Sengupta is a doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto in the Department of Political Science. Her research examines the policy development process of a set of urban governance reforms in India’s national urban policies. She is also a Research Fellow at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), where she is conducting a study on the Smart Cities Mission, a national urban development program of the Government of India.
